Over 3.5 million downloads across 40+ cities worldwide: The Cool Cities app series was one of the most successful travel app series in the German-speaking market. apprime developed the full solution including white-label system and CMS.
Cool Cities was a successful series of city guide apps for iOS and Android, comprising over 40 individual editions and universal apps. The series achieved more than 3.5 million downloads total and was also distributed as a print guide.
Each app offered curated POIs, tours, offline maps and dynamic content via a central CMS built on Ruby on Rails. A white-label system enabled efficient rollout to new cities.
