Berlin's official city guide: Over 1,200 insider tips, curated tours and events – as a native app with its own CMS. apprime developed, operated and editorially managed the app for over ten years.
Going Local was the official Berlin app by Berlin Tourismus & Kongress GmbH. The native app for iOS and Android offered over 900 editorially curated locations, thematic tours, events, offline usage and accessible navigation.
The backend was powered by an agile mobile CMS developed by apprime, enabling editorial management of hundreds of locations. The app was presented at ITB by the Governing Mayor. In 2019, apprime won the public tender for the relaunch.
The project ran from 2014 to 2024. apprime was responsible for concept, development, editorial content and ongoing operations.
